Fusion Care Group with Gina Drew
We would like to introduce you to Gina Drew, Regional Director of Fusion Care Group, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Moon Valley Mom. Gina and her two kids moved to Moon Valley in 2011. She and her family love the Moon Valley community and the family-oriented feel, especially around the holidays. As we begin a new year, Gina reminds people that “You have the power to control your personal journey and write your own story.” This mantra is a central theme in her work with those seeking support through managing life’s complexities.
Fusion Care Group was created by cousins, Dr. Christiana Silva, Ph.D and Scott Shainman in an effort to bring change to an industry that is often mislabeled, judged, and ignored. By emphasizing the client experience, Fusion Care Group seeks to bring the very best metal health care to the communities which they serve. Fusion Care has been serving CA communities for 13 years and now covers AZ under the capable hands of Gina Drew; with convenient services, calming and accepting staff, modern technology, and relaxing offices.
Gina received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Illinois State University and her Master’s Degree in Counseling from National Louis University. For over 25 years, Gina has been providing individual and group counseling services to children, adolescents, families, and adults, working with diverse populations throughout her career including education/special education, justice involved, and within the social services sector. Her expertise includes adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety, emotional/behavioral challenges, grief/loss, and interpersonal conflict.

Gina’s personal experience with grief and loss as well as managing the complexities of single parenting uniquely positions her to assist her clients. Integrating individual goals and philosophies into her treatment approaches allows her to achieve positive results in collaboration with her clients. Gina emphasizes finding balance and gaining perspective in challenging situations. Through this safe space, Gina focuses on her client’s strengths and their ability to grow and create their own desired outcomes.
Gina relocated to Arizona from Illinois over 20 years ago. She lives in Moon Valley with her two children, Halligan (9) and Penelope (4) and their Shiba Inu pup, Nala (1). She is excited to bring Fusion Care to Phoenix and change the way people think about and receive mental health services and support. Fusion will be opening their first physical location in the Greater Phoenix Area in February with plans to expand with several locations throughout the Valley.
Fusion Care Group tailors therapy approaches to meet client's needs. They provide support to children, adolescents, and adults.
