Moon Valley has a new favorite coffeeshop! Serafina Coffee Roasters, located at the corner of 7th St and Coral Gables, is a local hotspot for delicious drinks, savory baked goods, and gelato. Here at Locality Homes, we are thrilled to have a neighborhood coffeeshop and enjoy seeing friends, clients, and neighbors every time we are there! Owned by Moon Valley residents, Damian and Julia Serafine, you are sure to experience a warm welcome as you place your order from their extensive menu of iced and hot beverages. Over the years, Damian has helped Phoenix break new ground in specialty coffees, with his broad knowledge of coffee beans and his own method of roasting them. If there’s anything you want to know about coffee, Damian is your guy!
Damian Serafine has been passionate about coffee since his days in New York, where he was traded as a Master Roaster of coffees. In 1993, Damian moved to Phoenix, where he quickly opened the first coffee shop on Central Ave and Monroe Street. In the following years, Damian opened a Coffee & Juice Bar inside the Phoenix Convention Center and Symphony Hall. Damian expanded his business to include locations inside the Herberger Theater, Scottsdale Center for the Arts, and the Historic San Carlos Hotel.
The original Serafina Coffee Roasters location has been open in downtown Phoenix since 2018. With two locations now open, Damian and Julia look forward to serving more customers while keeping true to their passion for coffee and creating the “Ultimate Coffee Experience” in their coffeeshops.
If coffee isn’t for you, you’ll love the large selection of organic, fair-trade tea, plus lemonades, smoothies, bagels, sandwiches, breads, muffins and so much more. Our Locality Homes team favorites include the Cafe Miel, Pumpkin Chai, Tropical Black Iced Tea and Red Mango Lemonade. Be sure to come hungry because the baked goods are irresistible!
